This is a lovely narrow necked jug, measuring 19cm in height. It holds a generous 900ml in liquid. The surface is slip decorated with birds and swirls in blue and green and the outside is glazed in an iron rich tin glaze. The inside is glazed in a glossy clear glaze. Subtle ridges in the neck adds interest and here the glaze breaks into a rusty hue.
