Fireflower Storm serving bowl

Here is another stoneware bowl to make a statement. It is slip decorated on the inside, with loose charcoal brushstrokes and splatter patterns, to create a striking effect. The outside is glazed in a matte black and the glaze on the inside is a warm oatmeal. The rim is left unglazed which lends an earthy feel. It measures 26.5 x7cm, making it a generous bowl. It is pictured here with the fireflower olive oil jug  - perfect to hold a salad dressing or sauce.
