Black and white sgraffito mug

This is a generous mug for a serious tea or coffee lover. The upper half is decorated with loose incised markings on  bands of black slip, and glazed in an oatmeal glaze, also used to glaze the inside. The lower half is glazed in a flecked matte black and a narrow band of unglazed clay separates the black and white. It pairs beautifully with the black and white mug. It measures around 8.5cm in height, 9cm at the base, and 7cm at the rim.
