John Dory serving bowl

This stoneware bowl is a lovely statement piece . It measures 21.5 x 6cm  and is dishwasher and oven safe. The inside is slip decorated, showing a John Dory  swimming among seaweed, on a deep blue background. The outside is decorated with blue swirls on a band of green. The glaze is a beautiful creamy tin glaze, which breaks to a warm rust on the rims, giving it real character.
